Laryngeal cancer is a pathologic tissue change in the tissue that is only confirmed by biopsy. Dysplasia is abnormal cells that are not found to be malignant yet is often indicative of early cancerous process. Cancer refers to a change of normal tissue that divides and grows uncontrollably
The cause of laryngeal cancer or pre cancerous pathologist is multifactorial. One of the major risk factors is smoking and heavy drinking of alcohol
Laryngeal cancer may spread by direct extension to adjacent structures.
Both appear whitish or reddish in color due to hypervascularization and can form a mass, plaque, or irregularity on the vocal fold edge.

Sore throat or globus sensation
Stridor (noise when breathing)

Prescribed and/or changed based on the stage of diagnosis
Requires continued cancer surveillance through regular laryngeal examinations
